After over three decades of studio silence, Parliament have shared the follow-up to their 1980 record Trombipulation, entitled Medicaid Fraud Dogg.

The record – containing 23 tracks over 76 minutes – arrives a few weeks after George Clinton announced his 2019 retirement from the legendary funk collective.

“It’s never really been about me. It’s always been about the music and the band,” he said in an official statement. Adding, “This has been coming a long time. Anyone who has been to the shows over the past couple of years have noticed that I’ve been out front less and less.”
